Shane Cheary
Chief Technology Officer
Shane Cheary brings over 35 years of deep software architecture and engineering expertise. His role is pivotal in transforming complex SaaS platforms and engineering operations with a strong business focus.
Shane’s leadership has been instrumental in enhancing Hangar A’s technological landscape since August 2022. Previously, he expanded the engineering discipline at Benchmark Analytics and led significant platform growth. His skills in DevOps, product management, and continuous integration ensure Hangar A remains at the forefront of e-logistics innovation. Shane’s approach combines strategic vision with operational excellence, driving technological advancements that empower both the company and its customers.
Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Zoology from the University of Adelaide.
Jamie Solock Berman
Senior Vice President, Strategy & Innovation
Jamie Solock Berman is the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Innovation at Hangar A, where she helps shape the company’s long-term vision and drives the development of market-driven solutions across logistics, automation, and AI. She brings deep experience translating real-time data and emerging technologies into scalable, operational platforms.
Prior to Hangar A, Jamie served as Vice President of Products at Upwell, an AI-enabled accounts receivable automation platform for the freight industry, where she was an early team member and played a key role in product strategy, data intelligence, and go-to-market execution. Earlier in her career, she led product, strategy, and design initiatives at Alchemy Ops, Inhab, Benevolent Enabler, Blueblaze, and the University of Chicago, launching multiple MVPs and enterprise platforms.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
Thomas J Ausley II
Senior Vice President of Global Logistics
Thomas J. Ausley II is the Senior Vice President of Global Logistics at Hangar A, bringing over three decades of logistics expertise. Since April 2024, he has led the company’s global logistics strategies from Chicago. Previously, Thomas served as Vice President of Logistics at Contempo Card Company, enhancing operational efficiencies, and as President of Q&A Efficiencies and Logistics LLC, where he spearheaded industry-leading logistics solutions. His earlier roles include significant positions at Tier One Relocation LLC, W.B. Mason Company Inc., FedEx Express, and UPS.
Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Rhode Island and Six Sigma certifications from Villanova University.
Scott Wilbur

He is passionate about building high-performing teams, developing strong leaders, and creating the structure and discipline required for organizations to scale with confidence.
Scott has led multi-site operations across both established and high-growth environments, guiding teams through complexity while driving clarity, accountability, and measurable performance. His leadership approach blends steady execution with a bias for action — aligning people, process, and strategy to deliver lasting results.
Today, Scott focuses on strengthening operational foundations, investing in leadership development, and building resilient systems that enable sustainable growth. He believes great operations are built on empowered teams, clear priorities, and a culture where ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement drive success.

Melissa Nations is the Senior Director of Implementation Services at Hangar A, where she leads enterprise onboarding, solution deployment, and customer success initiatives with a focus on speed, scalability, and satisfaction. With over 15 years of experience building and scaling implementation teams in high-growth SaaS and logistics technology environments—including leadership roles at FourKites and SIM Partners—Melissa is known for her operational rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and commitment to delivering measurable client outcomes. Her expertise spans project delivery, strategic planning, process optimization, and people leadership.
Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Illinois State University.
